Local Tip
One of the most sacred and well-preserved historical sites in all of Hawaii. Ancient place of refuge with carved wooden ki'i statues, royal fishponds, and heiau right on the ocean. Beautiful and peaceful. Kids love the Junior Ranger booklet. Combine with Kealakekua Bay nearby for a full South Kona day.
